The winners are...

The Pure Passion for Fashion show was a wonderful success on Saturday, April 12th. Three young ladies made it through three rounds of judging and walked the final runway.

Sara Myles received the most points from the judges and the audience and will receive a gift certificate shopping spree. Ellie Malone came in a very close for second place and third place was Malia Roach. Our judges were Roberta Camp, Miss Ohio 2007; Diane Fulk, Family Consumer Sciences Teacher at Northmor High School; and Jim Laipply, pageant advisor. The judges labored intensely to make sure each entry in the competition received fair review. Their point system was impeccable and we added the audience vote to their scores for the final total.

Kent Justice, Fox News 28, was the Master of Ceremonies and provided a fun time for all. Fifteen models of various ages from 12 to 25 modeled different lines of clothing including Weekenders and dELiA’s of Easton. Excellent speakers included Roberta Camp, Miss Ohio 2007and David Mahan, Frontline Youth Communications, who gave great messages to the young people and adults who attended. The grand finale featured David Mahan dancing with his youngest daughter to “Cinderella” by Stephen Curtis Chapman and concluded with bride, Melissa Adams dancing with he  father. Comments from the audience repeated over and over how wonderful the event was and how they hoped for even more people to attend next year.
